Brief Introduction of NACPDEAN
The National Association of Charcoal Producers, Dealers, Exporters
and Afforestation of Nigeria (NACPDEAN) is the recognized national
umbrella body established to coordinate, regulate, organize,
promote and represent stakeholders operating across the charcoal
value chain in Nigeria.
NACPDEAN was established to provide a unified institutional
platform for charcoal producers, dealers, exporters, processors,
marketers, investors, transporters, warehouse operators,
afforestation practitioners and other stakeholders within the
sector.
The Association serves as a bridge between industry operators,
government institutions, development partners, investors and the
international market, ensuring that the charcoal industry
contributes meaningfully to economic growth, environmental
sustainability, employment generation and foreign exchange
earnings.
The Association was formally incorporated with the Corporate
Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria on the 6th day of June 2022
with Registration Number
IT182068.
Today, NACPDEAN stands as the foremost national body championing
responsible charcoal production, sustainable forest management,
environmental restoration, afforestation, export promotion and
industry regulation throughout Nigeria.
NACPDEAN was established as a strategic response to the challenges
facing Nigeria's charcoal industry and to provide a sustainable
pathway for industry growth, environmental protection and economic
development.
By bringing producers, dealers, exporters, processors, marketers
and all stakeholders under one umbrella, NACPDEAN has created a
platform for accountability, regulation, environmental
responsibility and industry advancement.
The Association remains committed to supporting the Federal
Government's objectives on environmental sustainability, economic
diversification, non-oil export promotion, afforestation and
foreign exchange generation while ensuring that Nigeria's charcoal
industry develops responsibly, transparently and sustainably for
present and future generations.

production, environmental conservation, afforestation and
internationally compliant charcoal trade practices.
Mission Statement
To organize, regulate, represent and empower stakeholders within
the charcoal value chain through sustainable resource management,
afforestation initiatives, environmental responsibility, industry
compliance, trade facilitation and strategic partnerships that
contribute to national development.
